Unexpected encounter @ Les Cevennes

While taking some holidays @ the Cevennes, I heard two truly incredible musicians playing in the neighbourhood: violinist Sébastien Surel and cellist Raphaël Perraud. What else could we do but to organise an impromptu mini-concerto!

Since we were all of us supposed to be taking a break ("une pause"), and that we found ourselves in a small hamlet called "Les Pauses", we decided to name it the "Trio des pauses"...

A wonderful experience, looking forward to our next encounter!

Astor Piazzolla disait de ses tangos qu’ils n’étaient faits ni pour danser ni pour chanter mais pour « réfléchir ». La formule ne pouvait que convenir à une formation classique comme celle du dynamique Trio Talweg qui sait allier l’énergie et le « sex-appeal » de cette musique avec ses qualités universelles de forme et de raffinement.

"Despedida", duo with storm

While playing in a lost place in the mountains, a storm decided to play along with me... Nothing left to do, but to open the window and record it with my cell phone.

Je jouais dans un coin perdu des montagnes et la tempête decida de faire un duo... Il ne me restait plus qu'à ouvrir la fenêtre et enregistrer avec mon portable.
